And blah, blah, blog...oh, yes. Unfortunately, I cannot upload two of my college projects from last spring, because neither I nor the professor has a copy of them. :( At my request, he sent me the discs he had of mine from that course, but they were all things that I already have on YouTube. So, my edit of the airplane scene in The Day After Tomorrow (matching audio to the video) and the 30-second Las Vegas ad spot created by my partner and me (by selecting among dozens of clips, editing, choosing and adding music, and recording voice-overs) cannot be shared. 

Additionally, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic review remains unwatchable except on specific Apple computers on the university's campus. This I may never understand. The good news is that I saved the video file on a CD; the bad news is that I don't believe we will ever find another machine to play it. It's a shame, because I was rather pleased with the way that came out, editing and all. At least the entire review is readable.

I also wish that I still had my PowerPoint projects about the Swedish film industry and Persona, Celine Dion's biography (and the paper comparing & contrasting her with Barbra Streisand), the trailer my group made in Production Foundations, my Animation I final that was a twist on a nursery rhyme ("Hush Little Baby"), my large paranormal research project for the Union County Honors Seminar course, my mini-magazine for Mass Media, etc., etc. Thankfully I have kept loads of papers, projects, and other forms of writing and work from elementary, middle, and high school, as well as college & University. I've also, of course, got my yearbook articles, evidence of having been involved in high school plays (including acting in one), and so on. While some very desirable things have been lost, I retain VERY much of my schoolwork, whether in digital or hard copy form. =]

Technical Difficulties...

My review video has not translated from the school's computer, which played it just fine, to my own (which will not open it at all) or to YouTube (which uploaded it like this--basically, not at all.) Will see what can be done to fix this....


9/1/11 update: Same problems--still will not upload properly, or play on any computer aside from certain Macs on campus. It’s very baffling, and disappointing. ={ I may as well leave my useless "help request" videos up on YouTube...
